Q. What Services Do You Offer?

Graphic design specializing in logo and brand development, packaging and product graphics, illustration (and yoga)

Q. I’m Starting a New Business. Can You Help?

Absolutely! Let’s get started. You can choose from 2 tiers of support:
TIER 1 – Time Saver: Everything is created for you so can free up your time to grow your business.
TIER 2 – Budget Saver: You implement a brand guide I create for you. This includes regular consultations to receive feedback support on your hands-on implementation.

Q. How Much Does it Cost to Work with You?

Since each project is different, the scope of each project is assessed first then a unique estimate is created. As always, I’m happy to provide an estimate once we’ve found out the specific needs and goals of your project. Please contact us via our contact form tracyspencercreative.com/contact with details so we can get the process started.

Q. What is the Client’s Involvement in the Design Process?

New clients are encouraged to share any samples, color combinations/swatches, and ideas they may have to help me get an idea of style before starting any work.

Q. Is the Artwork for My Logo Clipart?

No, artwork is created from inspiration reached in our kick-off meetings and review cycles.

Q. How Does the Design Process Work?

Here’s a glimpse into the process:

Assess Fit — We meet, collaborate to ensure that I am the right Graphic Designer for your business or personal needs. It’s key to choose a Graphic Designer that matches what you envision you'll require for your current and future projects.

Housekeeping — Once I have an idea of the project, an estimate will then be created. Upon approval, the 50% deposit is then collected at which time the project can begin. Each estimate includes 2 rounds of changes. Any change in direction, after direction being chosen, will require an additional charge.

Design Reviews — Projects are presented to the client as mock-ups. Once a direction is chosen the final files are then produced. Each stage will be presented via a virtual meeting, reviewed, and approved by the client. Client approval at each stage is required to move the project forward. These check-in cycles ensure the project is on target to meet the client’s needs.

Proofing — Once in the production stage, proofs will be sent to the client for review and approval to ensure the files are correct. After all requested changes and completed and have received approval then the final files are saved for distribution.

Final Files — Once work is approved and paid in full, the client will receive all final files. The final files are their artwork to use as they see fit. These files are saved for 2 years in case they are lost or requested to be sent again.

Q. Do I Get to Review My Project’s Development?

Yes, and it’s key. Each project receives 2 presentations, 3 options minimum, and 2 rounds of changes.

Q. How Do I Check on the Progress of My Project During the Design Process?

Once deposit is received, normal turnaround for first round design options is 14 days. At each review stage the next review date will be scheduled. You are welcome to email any communication during the project. Emails will be returned within 24 hours.

Q. What’s Required to Start a Project?

50% non-refundable deposit is due before work can commence. A deposit invoice is emailed to you at the start of the project. Once the deposit is received, we will schedule a formal kick-off meeting. The balance of the 50% is to be received at the end of the project once it is approved and before the final deliverable is shared.

Q. What are the Payment Options?

There are 2 payment options: Online payments via zellepay.com or checks.

Q. How Will I Receive My Design Project Once it is Completed?

The finished project is yours upon receipt of final payment. At the client’s request, I will supply the electronic files to you via e-mail, or a temporary Dropbox link, if the file is too large to email. I will also keep a copy of your project on file for 2 years.

Q. How are Projects Finalized?

Proofs will be provided prior to releasing any final files, this allows an opportunity for feedback and to catch any errors. Once client gives final approval, the project is then considered final. Any changes after final approval will be an additional charge.

Q. Do I Get a Vector File for My Final Logo?

Yes. You get an Illustrator file (vector), PLUS jpeg, png, and a word file that works like clipart. Your logo design can be used to complete stationery and brand marketing – including business card, letterhead, envelopes, brochure design, websites, graphics for websites, direct mail design, email marketing, mailing labels, presentation folders, and any other designs your business may require.

Q. Do We Offer Printing?

No, but instead offer print proofing/print supervision. There are a lot details to manage with printing. If you’ve never supervised the printing process I highly recommend this service option. If you need support please request an estimate.

Q. I Need Something Designed Yesterday. Can You Help Me?

Rush projects can usually be accommodated depending on how full my production schedule is, however, a rush fee may be added. Email request to tracyspencercreative.com/contact to talk scheduling.
